I always enjoy Robyn Peterman's writing. She's funny and witty and her characters (mostly the foul-mouthed ones) often say things that I think during the course of any regular day. If you're a fan of the fantasy/satire/adventure mash-up, the Hot Damned series is for you.

Book #4 in an absolutely hysterical series! I had tears running down my cheeks while reading this! Let's just say raising an immortal baby is not easy at all, especially when you throw in God, Satan, Mother Nature, 2 old crazy vampyres, mini demons, mini elves, & some crazy Fairies! Then to make things more interesting your baby has powers beyond belief! I enjoyed the action, but most of all the zany characters!
For me Fashionably Dead in Diapers may have been the best and funniest in the Series thus far. The writing was okay. I just wished that the author has a wider vocabulary. Throughout the Series the same words and phrases were used for various descriptions and romantic sentiments. It sometimes made things a little bit boring and quite redundant. The character development was good and I adored baby Samuel. The plot was rather captivating and at times laugh out loud funny. There were a couple of predictable moments but the majority of the story was filled with twists and turns. I laughed more frequently out loud reading this book than with any of the previous books. Not reading book 3 seems to have been a prudent and money saving decision. There was only 1 or 2 mentions to what happened in that book and it didn't appear that I missed anything prudent to the plot arch. There were a couple of typos but nothing that prevented me from enjoying this fluffy, fun filled paranormal romance. There was plenty of action, tons of cussing, lots of humor, a tiny bit of suspense, a little drama and some rather hot loves scenes. The latter suffered from a limited descriptive vocabulary and a need for a bit more imagination and variety. The loves scenes were explicit but still rather bland. As with its predecessors this book is definitely for adults only who aren't offended by lots of profanity and several fairly explicit sex scenes. Nevertheless, for me it was an entertaining and fun read. However, given the content I still think that it is overpriced.
Another humorous book for the Hot Damned Series. Baby Samuel is more amazing than anyone expected and the idea that everything happens for a reason goes to a new level
Holy hand grenades!!!! I totally ignored any and all house hold duties to start an finish this book!! My house looks like a tornado went through it, but that is OK. Astrid and Ethan are worth the mess that is my home!! Robyn brought back wonderful and familiar friends from the previous books and introduced us to new ones. Not only is this book a MUST READ, it is one that I will read again and again. I personally thank Ms. Peterman for sharing her outstanding wit and humor with us readers!
This is a great installment in this series. If you like to laugh at preposterous situations and giggle at ridiculous happenings, then grab the whole series. Be prepared to laugh your butt off. 😂😀😁😂😂
With the trademark wit, sass, and sexiness, we have come to expect from Robyn Peterman, this book delivers it all! Non stop action, super sexy scenes, cute clothes, and evil fairies. I read this book in one day. Do yourself a favor, buy and read everything this woman has written!
Robyn Peterman has done it again, she made me look like a crazy person smiling and laughing out loud in a room full of people. I don't mind though, this book was so freaking funny.
I love that we get to see Astrid and Ethan's baby, and what he becomes. Being a parent is not easy, being this baby's parent could be deadly!
I loved that so many past characters were in this book, who doesn't love, Pam, The Kev, Gemma, and Satan?
"Sweet baby Moses in a boob tube" things like that just made me crack up, I have also happily added a few new swear words to my vocabulary.
The beginning of each chapter starts with some very helpful parenting tips if you should ever have a half Vampyre/half Demon baby.
I fell in love with this series from the first book, and I will surely be sad to see them end. I cannot say I will miss the accidental spraying of drinks out my nose.
